Returns & Refunds Policy
Caleb’s Collection is an independent archive of one-of-a-kind earphones and developmental prototypes. Each piece is a singular studio object with its own history, cosmetic character, and marks. Most items will never appear again.
For that reason, all sales are final, with a limited exception for items that arrive non-functional or incorrect.
1. Dead on Arrival (DOA) or Wrong Item
Every piece is inspected and tested for basic functionality before it leaves the studio. If something still goes wrong in transit, we will do our best to make it right.
You may request a return only if:
- The earphones arrive non-functional (DOA), or
- You receive a different item than the one shown and described on the product page.
If either occurs, please contact us within 7 days of delivery at support@calebscollection.com with:
- Your order number
- A brief description of the issue
- Clear photos or a short video showing the problem
If your return is approved, we will provide:
- A prepaid return shipping label
- Instructions for safely returning the piece
Items sent back without first requesting a return will not be accepted.
2. Condition & What Counts as a Defect
These pieces are archival development objects, not standard retail products. This means:
- Cosmetic marks, finish variations, tool marks, and other studio wear are normal and expected.
- Differences in fit, seal, or sound signature compared to other models you may own are not defects.
- Missing accessories (cables, ear tips, manuals, packaging) are intentional and clearly noted on each product page.
A “defect” eligible for return is defined as:
- Non-functional audio on one or both sides
- A major issue that makes the item unusable and was not disclosed
- Receiving the wrong item
Preference-based concerns (fit, comfort, sound profile, cosmetic expectations) do not qualify.
3. Non-Returnable Items
Except for approved DOA or wrong-item cases, all items are non-returnable and non-refundable.
This includes returns requested for:
- Change of mind
- Sound preference
- Fit or comfort
- Cosmetic expectations when marks or quirks are visible in listing photos

4. Exchanges
Because each item is unique and typically available in a quantity of one, we cannot offer exchanges.
If your item is approved for return due to DOA or incorrect shipment, the usual outcome is:
- A refund, as no identical replacement exists.
If you see a piece you love, it’s best to purchase it while it is available — once it’s gone, it’s likely gone for good.
5. European Union — 14-Day Cooling-Off Period
If your order is shipped to an address within the European Union, you have a legal right to cancel or return your order within 14 days of receiving it, for any reason and without justification.
To exercise this right:
- Contact support@calebscollection.com within 14 days of delivery.
- The item must be returned in the same condition in which it was received and securely packed for transit.
- Proof of purchase may be required.
You may be responsible for return shipping costs depending on the reason for return and applicable regulations. We will confirm details when you contact us.
6. How Refunds Work
For approved returns:
- We will notify you once your returned item has been received and inspected.
- If approved, a refund will be issued to your original payment method within 10 business days.
- Your bank or card issuer may require additional time to post the refund.
If 15 business days have passed since approval and you have not received your refund, please contact us at support@calebscollection.com.
